Sometimes we need to find people less than 25 miles away, Can we lower the option to less increments?

Hi there! Thank you for sharing this suggestion about the Location functionality.
Practically speaking, it's unlikely that we'll be able to accurately action an increment as small as 5 miles. The location data we use is not literally mapped to a specific point (such as longitude & latitude coordinates, or a building address) the way that you would encounter on a map tool. So without a specific epicenter, it can be difficult to consistently apply a narrow radius in a way that is meaningful and accurate.
We can explore possible ways to offer narrower search radius if enough customers indicate that this is an important need.
In the meantime, our best suggestion is that you can search by city and list out multiple adjacent cities if appropriate.

40km minimum search? this does not work in europe it can take 2 hours to travel 10km in london
Elliot Pike
if i'm working in essex I need businesses in that town or the towns nearby not 40km away you should be able to search by postcode/town and have a much lower minimum of 1km 2km, 5km 10km.

Thank you for your reply. Yes 10/15 miles would be more practical.
Since we search for people for jobs, most will not travel 25 miles for work especially in dense populations such as New York City, Chicago or LA where 25 miles is really 1.5 hr commute. Even 10-15 miles would greatly help our use of the program.

Nicole Wainwright: Thank you for adding this description about your use case, it's very helpful! We'll continue to monitor, and we'll investigate further if it seems to be a popular request.
