I'd like to have a graph of our API/credit usage over time in the account dashboard to help with monitoring our team's credit usage.

Currently, you're able to see the available credits in the left-hand menu, and you can download a usage report CSV. We're considering adding tools to raise visibility of usage trends - we'll keep this in mind!
